Tampa Bay Blues Festival
The Tampa Bay Blues Festival has captured the hearts of many music lovers over the last ten years. Many top blues musicians have graced the festival's stage. The tropical location makes it an ideal blues experience at Vinoy Park, 701 Bayshore Drive, NE Saint Petersburg, Florida. Not only will there be amazing live blues music at the festival, there will also be delicious Cuban cuisine, seafood, and barbeque among many other culinary dishes that can only be found in Florida. In the past, famous blues artists such as KoKo Tayloe, Buddy Guy, George Thorogood and Los Lobos have performed at this wondrous festival. So, be expecting another great turnout for 2017's Tampa Bay Blues Festival on April 7th to 9th, once again at Vinoy Park.
Headlining the festival this year will be Buddy Guy along with Ana Popovic, Tab Benoit, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Supergroup featuring Stephen Still, Coco Montoya &The Rides, as well as Barry Goldberg.
Friday's Lineup on April 7: Buddy Guy, The Jordan Patterson Band, Ana Popovic, Dennis Gruenling with Doug Deming, and Albert Cummings.
Saturday's Lineup on April 8: The Rides (Barry Goldberg, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Stephen Stills), Toronzo Cannon, Samantha Fish, Coco Montoya, and Matt Schofield.
Sunday's Lineup on April 9: Tab Benoit, The Lee Boys, Dawn Taylor Watson, Backtrack Blues Band, and JW-Jones.
Special early-bird tickets are available now through December 31st, priced at $30 to $40 a day & $100 for the whole weekend. There will be a kickoff party held on Thursday, April 6th. Blues Artist, Montoya, will be headlining the party. Tickets are priced at $20 a person. Each night after the festival there will be an after party held but details on that are yet to come.
